When recent college grad Princeton (clever name, huh?)
moves into a shabby NY apartment on Avenue Q (where’s that you say?)
he discovers that he’s not the kind of ‘special’ his parents
and the TV culture of his childhood prepared him to be.
Fortunately, he’s got friends to help him discover the purpose in his life!

July 20 - August 12

Gaynelle Verdeen, one-third of the outrageous Verdeen cousins,
needs to prove her sanity to a court-appointed psychologist
to avoid prosecution for crashing her minivan into the double-wide of
her husband’s girlfriend. And compared to some other Verdeens, she IS the sane one!
At a family reunion on the hottest day of July in the middle of Texas tornado season,
the only thing more out-of-control than the weather is the ongoing battle
over who makes the BEST Red Velvet Cake!

September 1 - September 23
AUDITIONS July 22 & 23 @ 7PM
The concept of two distinct personalities in one body is creepy enough,
but the idea of separating those personalities raises a disturbing question:
if you separate good and evil, what happens to the evil?
One answer is provided in the phenomenal Broadway hit musical
that actually workshopped and debuted in Houston in 1991.
Based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic story, this Gothic drama,
with its sweeping and haunting music, is as intense a theatrical experience
as you’re likely to have.

October 12 - November 4
AUDITIONS September 3 & 4 @ 7PM
Matthew Shepard’s torture and murder in 1998 was the first hate crime in America
that generated questions that hadn’t been addressed at that time.
Members of the Tectonic Theater went to Wyoming to interview the residents of the town,
to try to understand how cultural beliefs can produce social injustices.
The Laramie Project is the theatrical collage that came from those months of discussions.
It speaks to a specific moment, but talks about America as a whole
and should be seen by everyone.

November 23 - December 16

It’s Christmas year-round at the Snowflake Inn of Tinsel, Texas.
Which is not to say there is Peace on Earth year-round!
Family feuds, funky has-been actors, unexpected romance,
a bells-are-ringing wedding, a memorial service to die for,
and more laughs than your sides can stand guarantee that this is
the most lively holiday event ever.
Where else but Tinsel could you have your spirits brightened by an angel
with wings, boots, and a ear-flap hunting cap?
