This heart warming comedy is set in a beautyshop in Louisiana, owned by the over the top, larger than life Truvy. The show takes you through all of the ups and downs of a group of friends told by Truvy, Annelle, clairee, Shelby, M’Lynn, Ouiser. We see love, apathy, pain, loss, secrecy and a desperate attempt at living a life of happiness. Dreams built and the power of hope, the love between a mother and her child and the bond that can be so unbreakable between true friends. With the changing of seasons, we learn the power of friendship and sisterhood.
